The Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, Harvard University, invites practitioners of international affairs from around the world – diplomats, politicians, journalists, civil servants, military officers, NGO representatives, and business professionals – to apply for the 2011-2012 Fellows Program. Established in 1958, the Weatherhead Center provides a multidisciplinary environment for policy relevant research on international issues that is both academically rigorous and tied to contemporary problems. The Center is structured to encourage the highest level of interaction among a diverse community of scholars and practitioners. Our friend Burhan Gafoor, the Ambassador of Singapore to France since 2007 (and a member of the HCF Honorary Board), has just left his position to become his country's Ambassador for Climate Change. We thank him for his great contribution to our club and for his friendship. We send Burhan and his wife Zarina Varukatty-Gafoor, our best wishes and a happy landing in Singapore.
