Background on the George C. Marshall Center at the Hôtel de Talleyrand: Located at the heart of Paris near the Place de la Concorde, the Hôtel de Talleyrand is among the most important historic European buildings under the stewardship of the US Department of State. This former grand residence was the site of the administration of the Marshall Plan, when the building was purchased by the US government after World War II. Built between 1767 and 1769, the Hôtel de Talleyrand was designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel and its interiors were designed by Jean-François-Thérèse Chalgrin, one of the most prominent architects in 18th-century France. A special thanks to Jones Day Law Firm for supporting the HCF Holiday Party and co-hosting us in this newly re-opened and exquisite location - the George C. Marshall Center, a part of the US Embassy.
